Jim Janicki, Chief Executive Officer
Jim Janicki brings over 30 years experience in business and software technology leadership to Clockwork as Chief Executive Officer. Prior to joining Clockwork, Jim was President and CEO of Ignite Technologies, a leader in enterprise content delivery solutions where he grew revenues over 6X and deployed the Ignite Solution Suite to major Fortune 500 companies.
Prior to Ignite Jim was co-founder of MetaSolv in July 1992 and served as President and Chief Executive Officer in addition to his role as Chairman of the Board. During his tenure MetaSolv grew from a startup organization to a publicly traded company with revenues in excess of $130 million. Post IPO, Jim continued to grow and broaden MetaSolv’s solution offerings via two major acquisitions, a division of Nortel Networks and Orchestream PLC, a London based public company. Jim is widely recognized in the telecommunications industry as a leading spokesperson and innovator.
Prior to co-founding MetaSolv, Jim held various positions at Texas Instruments including North American Director of Consulting for the Information Engineering Facility (IEF) and Director of the IEF Templates organization, a unit that Jim founded and led. Prior to joining Texas Instruments, Jim worked for IBM.
Jim is a recipient of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the year award as well as the Dallas Tech Titans CEO of the Year Award.
Jim has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Information Systems from Arizona State University.
Eric Newman, Vice President Products
As VP of Products, Eric drives product strategy, definition and execution for Clockwork’s predictive analytics product line.
During his 20+ year career, Eric built, marketed and delivered world-class software products to companies such as Microsoft, Kohl’s, Yahoo, the NFL, Kraft, AT&T, British Telecom, NTT and Reuters. He has ridden the cutting edge of a number of online revolutions leading Products, Marketing and Services at a variety of technology companies: building the first location-based marketing solutions for retail at Digby; the first media and retailer social media solutions at Pluck (now Demand Media); education-based social marketing tools at Powered (now Sprinklr); expert network solutions at Question Technologies (now Motive Technologies); OEM search offerings at Direct Hit (now Ask.com); and the first software-based online collaboration tools at DataBeam (now part of IBM).
Eric holds a Masters in Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and Bachelor degrees in Information Systems and Marketing from the University of Cincinnati.
Frank Quatro, Vice President of Development
As Vice President of Development, Frank Quatro leads product direction and technology implementation at Clockwork Solutions LLC. His responsibilities include the design, productization and delivery of the Insight LCM platform by managing development of simulation infrastructures, big data analytics and enterprise applications. To ensure customer satisfaction, product quality and market value, Frank utilizes an agile process with a focus on software scalability, ease of use, and performance.
With over 15 years of experience in IT and multiple patents pending, Frank creates and commercializes intellectual property to sustain competitive advantages, grow market share and enter new markets. Prior to Clockwork, Frank managed a multi-million dollar software consulting practice where he was responsible for the development of numerous enterprise applications for clients like Alcatel-Lucent, Motive and PointServe.
Frank holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Science in Technology Commercialization from The University of Texas at Austin – The Red McCombs School of Business. Frank also serves as an advisor to businesses and startups throughout the U.S.
Brandon V. Brown, Vice President of Commercial Sales
Brandon leads the Commercial Sales team for Clockwork Solutions and is responsible for expanding our Oil & Gas, Chemical, Mining, Power Generation, Transportation and other Intensive Capital Asset customer universes. Brandon has 20+ years of global multi-functional software, services and business process outsourcing sales experience, and is an expert in building open executive relationships, solving complex business challenges and delivering proven results.
Prior to joining Clockwork Brandon specialized in delivering net new and organic revenue growth, and constructing high performance teams as a successful leader in software and service sales at IHS Global and Wipro Technologies among others. Brandon previously cofounded and managed multiple successful software company ventures in both conventional and emerging markets. Brandon began his career as a computer programmer / software engineer with Ernst & Young’s Management Consulting practice.
Brown holds a Bachelors of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from Texas A&M University.
Marshall Smith, Vice President of Industry Solutions
Marshall Smith is VP of Industry Solutions at Clockwork Solutions LLC, where he is responsible for sales and service delivery to Clockwork’s commercial customers. He started his career as an engineering statistician with Pratt & Whitney, where he conducted risk assessments and implemented statistical process control in the engine and rocket manufacturing businesses. Marshall is well known for his leadership on the team that designed, developed, and implemented fleet management modeling software and support tools for the U.S. Army Blackhawk Program Office. In his career, he also led work in the energy generation industry to develop techniques to optimize repair parts, quantify risks of critical machine failure and improve material flow throughout.
Marshall holds a BS and MS degree in Mathematics from Texas State University and an MS degree in Probability & Statistics from the University of Georgia.
Neil Herron, Vice President of Federal Sales
Neil is responsible for developing relationships with Clockwork’s prospects, partners and clients including the design of predictive analytics solution strategies to resolve complex, fleet management challenges in logistics planning and asset sustainment for federal clients. His experience with the complexities of the Federal landscape and communicating the value of both private and public cloud SaaS solutions is in line with Clockwork’s continuing growth and predictive analytics software development. Prior to Clockwork Solutions, Neil was the Vice President of Federal Sales at Application Security, Vice President of Public Sector Sales at Salesforce.com and the Director of National Intelligence at Oracle.
Neil has a BA from Merrimack College and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Penn State University.
Sergio Posadas, Vice President of Industry Solutions
Sergio leads the delivery of services to Clockwork’s aerospace and government customers to ensure their strategic and operational goals are achieved. He employs best practices in predictive analytics to deliver insight, bound risk, reduce waste, and add confidence to customer operations. Serg brings depth of experience to Clockwork from over 20 years of technical and strategic leadership. He applied predictive analytics and data science throughout his Marine Corps career as an aviator and operations analyst.
As a leading-edge product manager, he provided software development leadership and vision to deliver an advanced, data-driven, high-resolution simulation platform. He also authored policy on aviation weapons and tactics. Serg was hand picked for the Naval Postgraduate School operations research faculty where he advanced enterprise-level interests and educated data scientists in statistics, simulation, technical writing and operations research.
Serg received a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and an MS in Operations Research from NPS.
